Steam players of Dune: Awakening report a persistent problem where the game fails to uninstall properly. The uninstall process hangs indefinitely and triggers the BattleEye uninstaller, but ultimately leaves the game installed with a prompt to update. This issue prevents users from fully removing the game and points to a potential conflict involving the anti-cheat software. The problem impacts player control over game management and may require developer action to fix.
