Elite Dangerous will launch its major free update Law & Disorder this December, reshaping crime and punishment gameplay. The update enhances piracy, smuggling, and bounty hunting with clearer consequences and a more dynamic relationship between criminals and authorities. PvP crimes will be handled separately by the Pilot's Federation, while minor infractions will see more appropriate penalties. Anarchy systems will also see behavior changes to prevent system extinction, preserving pirate havens. Alongside this, the iconic Anaconda ship returns as the Anaconda Mk II, featuring a refreshed design with improved cockpit visibility and a new forward-deploying hardpoint. The Anaconda Mk II will enter ARX Early Access in October, offering Commanders a powerful new vessel with a modernized aesthetic and unique features.
