A new technique discovered by players in Elite Dangerous allows simultaneous deployment of the Rhino mining rig and the Nomad exobiology vehicle on planetary surfaces. By deploying one vehicle, disembarking, dismissing and recalling their ship on foot, then deploying the other vehicle, commanders can now conduct mining and biological scanning concurrently. Initial attempts caused crashes, but the method has since proven stable. This approach enhances efficiency on biologically rich planets, potentially changing how planetary exploration and resource gathering are managed.
