Vodel, known for the Scarab and Scorpion SRVs, has introduced the SRV Rhino, the largest surface recon vehicle currently available in Elite Dangerous. The Rhino features heavy armour and superior grip, trading speed for enhanced traversal of harsh planetary terrain. Its size requires deployment from Large Planetary Vehicle Hangars on compatible ships. A new partnership with Wreaken Mining equips the Rhino with deployable mining rigs and an on-site refinery module, enabling efficient planetside resource extraction. The Rhino is available now as an early-release purchase before wider shipyard availability.
